The Labour4Clause4 campaign held another successful union fringe meeting, this time at the PCS annual conference in Brighton on 22nd May.
The Labour4Clause4 campaign is finding an echo throughout the labour movement. From CLPs and trade unions, through to Momentum groups and on the streets: the campaign to restore Clause 4 is making a mark.
The renationalisation of Royal Mail and telecoms was a hot topic at the recent conference of the Communication Workers Union. Labour4Clause4 were present with a fringe meeting, supporting the demand for public ownership and democratic control.
Our economy is dominated by around 150 giant companies and firms. Through their hands, the majority of society's resources pass. As it stands, they control production. It is time we take back control.
The NHS is in crisis, starved of the resources it desperately needs. The major pharmaceutical companies, however, are laughing all the way to the bank, making massive profits off over-priced drugs.
